But look at that listing.... And then come back to mine.... Im not sure what the big deal is.... That is a nice bunch of bones....
Why is my example so colorful? This thing is heavy - its incredible to hold it and feel the weight - at 8 pounds it will surprise you. The green part of the fossil is mysterious to me... Is it truly the bone? There is a spot where you can see a tendon passes through/by the bone. So much like what you see at a butchers display.... Is that fossilized tendon material? Look at the main picture and use ZOOM and look at the green crust. Look at the bottom of the green.Do you see what looks like a repetitive shape - like a chop or bite has been taken out of it? Twice it appears in the same shape and with scrutiny it appears again and again... It looks like intentional hacking at the bone. WHO THE HECK DID THAT?? AND DID THEY USE A TOOL??
Its called "implement signature" AND ITS REAL!!!!!! I really like looking at the broken butt end of the thing - i imagine im seeing bone marrow with the funky red colorful dots and streaks - quite creepy. It has spent some time as a paperweight on my desk, as it sits and displays well.
What dinosaur did it come from? Ive researched and tried to match pictures to other finds - it looks the most like a tail vertebrae of the t-rex. I show it wet in one picture to highlight the colors.
Here are some facts about my research - (google images:). I just cant find another bone fossil of any animal - bears - dinosaurs - whales - et cetera..... SO FREAKING HEAVY FOR ITS SIZE. AND IF WHAT IM SEEING IS TRULY MANIPULATION OF THE BONE PRIOR TO FOSSILIZATION??? A truly stunning find and work of art. This is the real deal in all of its fascinating and colorful glory.About 8 inches wide and 6 inches tall and about the same in depth. It truly is a showpiece and should be seen- ive never shown it to anyone. Give me your thoughts as to what this is.
The main picture was taken on a bright and sunny day... And wet - the others were taken on a cloudy day. If you ask questions or give information i will post it to this listing so others will learn yo.
