4 TYRANNOSAURUS REX Rib Bone HELL CREEK Cretaceous DINOSAUR FOSSIL t rex 10

For your consideration is a superior piece of Tyrannosaurus rex T. Tyrannosaurus rex fossils are highly prized by collectors due to their value and rarity. As the archetypal theropod, T. Rex and the demand for its fossils have resulted in skyrocketing prices for complete T. Rex bones, leading most collectors to search for affordable bone fragments.

This specimen was recovered from a private ranch in the Hell Creek Formation of (Baker) Montana at a Tyrannosaurus rex site that was too eroded to construct a complete skeleton. It was identified as T. Rex and was found with other bones from the same animal.

Appropriate collection and preparation methods were used to mitigate damage to the fossils. Rex bones were obtained from a colleague of Steve Nicklas PhD (founder of Paleo Prospectors). Nice shape with good detail. Visible trabecular pattern inside the bone.
