A little bit about this species. This is the Carcharodontosaurus species, which is often referred to as the African T-Rex. 100 million years ago and was actually larger than the North American T-Rex. Due to their fragile nature and the fact that these teeth are roughly 100 million years old, it is very rare to obtain a specimen that is void of repair or restoration.... Hence any tooth that is 100% Natural is beyond rare. 100% Natural specimen with NO Repairs and NO Restorations and. That makes ALL the difference in the world when collecting Dinosaur fossils.
There is some redish coloring on one side of the the tooth but I literally scrubbed. This area with acetone and nothing came off.
It appers to be just the way the tooth. Your more than welcome to return. I have seen plenty of teeth from this location with fill to the blade. And it always comes off with Acetone.
